  Company Overview
&B Welding, Inc has grown into the Baltimore region's premier steel fabrication shop not because of its sophisticated CNC machinery but because of its people. Experienced, educated, and hard working-these are the words that describe our guys. Take Ralph Eisenhuth. When he first came to B&B he didn't know how to weld. Today, he's the shop foreman. Same goes for Sam Drumm. He didn't know how to weld either when he joined B&B fresh out of school. Today, he's a whiz with CNC machinery and a highly skilled AutoCAD designer. Both Ralph and Sam are twenty plus year veterans at B&B. Other veterans include Joe Pallikal (15 years with B&B), Frank Horney (10 years), Dave Mills (9 years), and Joe Bearman (8 years). These men make up the core crew of a loyal and experienced shop.

The B&B team has been at the forefront of an unprecedented change in the steel fabrication industry, the changeover from handwork to automation. In order to operate the sophisticated CNC machinery, our guys had to hit the books. In the early 80's, we mastered the DOS operating system. Today, B&B operators have learned AutoCAD, SDS2, and RAM software packages. Most of our guys have cross-trained on all the CNC machinery in the shop, from the Peddinghaus AFPS623 Anglemaster to the Peddinghaus FPB 1800. Ultimately, B&B Welding has been so successful over the years because the B&B team has embraced technology, mastered the software, and continued to look for new ways to fabricate steel faster and smarter.
